 | This system is used to determine how courses completed at other institutions may transfer to Appalachian State University. This information is not comprehensive, however; as new institutions and courses are evaluated, the information will be added to these pages. Appalachian offers this system as a transfer equivalency reference and guide only. The equivalent course information is subject to change without notice. Prior to Fall 2010, students entering Appalachian initially or under a forgiveness policy follow Appalachian's transfer policy that states that equivalent courses with 'D' grades may transfer to satisfy course requirements, but credit hours will not count towards graduation. Beginning Fall 2010, students entering Appalachian initially or under a forgiveness policy follow Appalachian's transfer policy states that only equivalent courses with 'C' grades or better may transfer to satisfy course and pre-requisite requirements.
